POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was knocked unconscious during a robbery in Bridgwater. A 34-year-old man had just left the Sainsbury's store at around 8.30pm on Wednesday, April 30, when he was allegedly attacked by two men. According to police the victim was walking along a footpath leading onto a zebra crossing in Bristol Road when the incident occurred. He was allegedly punched to the ground and knocked unconscious for a short time and the attackers stole his cash and iPhone....
