Yet that's exactly what *e.m.m.a.* did at Boiler Room earlier this year. Spraying the room with her own, sub-low productions, the producers then whacked on a bit of 'Good Vibrations - just cos.
Since then, her star has risen enormously. Mumdance took charge of a special show for Rinse FM earlier this week, and dropped something new from e.m.m.a.
'Mindmaze' is indebted to grime in its structure, its jagged lines and sine waves. But it avoids the sometimes macho feel that can descend upon bass culture, with 'Mindmaze' delivered with no small degree of wit and charm.
Check out those rainbow synths at the end - the sheer flush of colour alone will bring a smile to your face.
