Beautiful.*James Vincent McMorrow* never intended to be successful.
Debut album 'Early In The Morning' developed a life of its own, establishing the image of McMorrow as a songwriter in the plaintive, acoustic vein.
The reality, though, is somewhat different. Second album 'Post Tropical' emerged earlier this year, fusing his carefully controlled voice with electronic production.
Now a deluxe edition of 'Post Tropical' is due for release. Containing a plethora of extras, new cut 'You Know' has been placed online.
It's a beautiful return. The space the singer is afforded, the manner in which he controls the tempo of the track is quite something.
