Ghostly, ethereal production...
A reclusive London pairing - thus far we've discerned their names are Alan and Lee - Pale have developed a sound all their own.
Taking the skeletal aesthetic of The xx one step further, the pair seem to dwell in shadow, to place empasis on the photographic negative.
New EP 'The Come Back' is out now, with *Pale* set to play a one off London show at the Shacklewell Arms on October 8th.
In the run up to this, Filipino producer Eyedress has picked apart 'Silence'. Degrading the sound to add a sense of grit, there's an unsettling ambience rippling through the production, almost akin to a ghost sighting within a double exposure.
Check it out now.
