General admission tickets go on sale Sunday (October 5th)Perhaps the most important music festival in the UK, *Glastonbury* retains an allure few other events can match.
This year saw organisers break ticket records, with fans rushing to grab hold of their pass. Preparations are already under way for 2015’s instalment, and it looks as though passes will be in more demand than ever.
Initial tickets went on sale yesterday evening (October 1^st) and sold out within 15 minutes. At a batch of 15,000 this means that fans snapped up just over 1000 passes per minute.
Emily Eavis tweeted to fans:
Wow, all 15,000 coach + ticket packages went in 14 minutes! That's amazing. (If you missed out, the rest are on sale at 9am on Sunday.)

Registration for the festival has now closed, with the next batch of tickets due to go on sale from 9am this Sunday (October 5^th).
