Big Ups Return With New 'Snot Green' Single Check out the brattish punk of 'Rash'

Hailing from New York, *Big Ups’* self-titled debut reminded the Clash team that brattish, visceral punk rock could still thrill.

Reminiscent at points of McLusky, it was a record of verve, wit and no little daring, accompanied by a live show which swiftly became a thing of wonder.

New single ‘Rash’ drops on October 27^th, and it picks up where the band’s debut album left off. Almost brutally short, Big Ups rage against the taut, claustrophobic atmosphere of the city.

Frontman Joe Galarraga states: "'Rash' is a song about feeling exposed. We live in a city so densely populated, that it feels impossible to escape and actually be alone. We're always surrounded by people on the street and the transit system. Even in our apartments, we are separated from our neighbors by a few feet of drywall. On bad days, this can all be too overwhelming. Specifically, the song uses the idea of rash to manifest this idea; everyone can see one's irregularities in the open without pretense."

Set to be pressed on seven inch vinyl - 100 copies in snot green, the remainder in black - you can listen to 'Rash' now.
