And it's there in the pop music. It's so terrifically English for a group like *Shy Nature* - despite owing their origins to places across the UK - to have formed in North London.
New EP 'Birthday Club' is out today, and it's a delight. Patiently anthemic songwriting with a synth pop flair, it's a finely honed introduction from the trio.
