So it makes perfect sense of Optimo’s JD Twitch – an outspoke advocate and high profile collector of 99’s output – to step in on remix duties.
That said, the Glasgow-based producer’s re-work still takes your breath away. A lengthy, exploratory journey, the entrancing electronics are matched to a spacious, dub-inspired arrangement which retains the noir mood of the original.
