There's a shared love of fuzzed up guitars, too, whether that's Mudhoney or The Wedding Present. So a group such as *Man Made* - who have spent time in both areas - shouldn't come as too much of a surprise.
A power trio in every sense, the group's live shows - unhinged, incendiary - caused a flurry of interest as 2014 tailed away.
Launching themselves into the New Year, upcoming single 'Carsick Cars' is due to be released on March 9th.
All brash songwriting, volume and attitude, the flailing guitar riff recalls those taut early cuts from The Walkmen or even much loved Brighton types Brakes.
