Taken from debut album 'The Names'
Perhaps best known as the bass player in Vampire Weekend, *Baio* produced a stunning about-turn by releasing a number of Balaeric inspired solo tracks.
Blissful, house-tinged electronics, the sunrise feel was matched to some blissed out vocals. Now the producer is set to perform another sidestep, with new album 'The Names' incoming.
The artist's first full length solo outing, the album is preceded by new track 'Sister Of Pearl'. Baio introduces the song:
"With 'Sister of Pearl' I wanted to write a Bowie & Ferry-referencing throwback pop song with a simple, straight-forward lyrical message: be who you want to be."
Check it out now.
'The Names' will be released on September 18th.
