In Court: Cases heard at Central Devon Magistrates' Court This is Exeter -- George Savill, @ 29, of Green Lane, Exeter, has been found guilty of resisting PC Mackay in the execution of his duty during an incident on October 5, 2013. He was given a two year conditional discharge and must pay costs of £100 and a £15 victim surcharge. Paul Hoaken, @ 49, of Halberton Road, Willand, pleaded guilty to criminal damage of household furniture and other goods at a home in Willand on December 16, 2013. He was fined £110 and must pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge. Silviu Milas, @ 52, of Willington Road, London, has admitted stealing cosmetic goods from Boots in Exeter worth £511.50 on December 17, 2013. He must do 60 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £60. Peter Roberts, @ 52, of Smythen Street, Exeter, pleaded guilty to failing to leave an area and not return for 24 hours after being given a direction by a police officer to do so. He was fined £50 and made to pay a victim surcharge of £20. Scott Lough, @ 32, of Belmont Road, Exeter, was found guilty of assaulting a female victim by beating during an incident on May 6, 2013. He was sentenced to 70 hours unpaid work and must pay £100 compensation, £300 costs and a £60 victim surcharge. He was also made the subject of a restraining order. Darren Locke,@ 42, of Cheshire Road, Exmouth was found guilty of assaulting a female victim during an incident in Exmouth on June 16, 2013. He must carry out 60 hours of unpaid work and pay £60 victim surcharge. He was also made subject to a restraining order. He was also found guilty of stealing an iPhone from the victim on the same date. Daniel Evans,@ 23, of Godfreys Gardens, Bow, Crediton pleaded guilty to stealing five bottles of spirits worth £100 from Morrisons in Crediton on May 1, 2013, two bottles of vodka worth £18 from Co-op in Okehampton on November 13, 2013, six computer games from Tesco in Crediton worth £324 on December 13, 2013 and attempting to steal two bottles of vodka from Morrisons in Crediton on November 30, 2013. He also admitted a charge of failing to surrender to bail at Exeter police station on October 29, 2013. For all charges he was given a 12 month conditional discharge and must pay compensation and a victim surcharge totalling £33. Jeremy Hector, @ 47, of St Andrew Street, Tiverton, has been jailed for taking a Ford Transit van without consent from the Sampford Peverell on December 13, 2013. He also pleaded guilty to driving the vehicle while disqualified in Castle Street, Taunton and driving without the proper insurance. His overall sentence was 16 weeks and he was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for four years. Philip Price, @ 51, of Dagnor Road, Exmouth, pleaded guilty to assaulting a female victim by beating. The incident happened between October 4 and October 9, 2013. He must undergo alcohol dependency treatment for 12 months and was also made the subject of a restraining order. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60. Wieslaw Wytyk, @ 52, of Branscombe, Seaton, was stopped on a road in Beer on September 20, 2013 driving a Volvo with 118mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He must carry out 120 hours unpaid work, pay compensation of £250 and disqualified from driving for 28 months. Yewande Kotun,@ 23, of Abbey Road, Torquay, pleaded guilty to possession of 0.17g of cannabis resin and 0.3g of amphetamine in Exeter on November 20, 2013. She was given a 12 month conditional discharge and must pay a victim surcharge of £15. An order was made for the drugs to be destroyed. Samuel Stone, @ 20, of Barley Mount, Exeter, has admitted breaching a community order to attend appointments with a supervising officer. He was fined £100. Matthew Carey, @ 25, of Queen Street, Honiton, has been left with a bill totalling £576.40 in fines, compensation, costs and a victims surcharge after travelling on a train from Exeter Central without paying a fare. Kurtis Coyle, @ 21, of Whitycombe Way, Exeter, must pay a total of £575.10 after being caught trying to avoid paying a train fare near Starcross on June 11, 2013. Charles Dyer, @ 22, of Polsloe Road, Exeter, must pay £521.40 for travelling on a train near Polsloe Bridge on April 24, without paying. Ryan Grenfell, @ 25, of Raleigh Road, Newton Abbot was fined £400 in additional to costs of £130, a victim surcharge of £40 and compensation of £5.10 after being caught without paying for his train faire near Exeter St David's on June 16, 2013. David Barriball, @ 25, of Queens Road, Exeter, drove a VW car on the M5 between Junction 27 and 28 without the proper insurance on September 26, 2013. He was fined £250 and must pay costs of £60 and a £25 victim surcharge. Alexander Crook, @ 26, of Highland Terrace, Uffculme, has admitted breaking the 70mph speed limit on the M5 at Poltimore on October 8, 2013. He was fined £105 and must pay costs of £60 and a £20 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with four points. Tia Bamford, @ 27, of Littleway, Exeter, has been given a six month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge after admitting being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Exeter on December 2, 2013. Ryan Chapman, @ 19, of South View, Tiverton, has admitted stealing two Gucci perfume gift boxes worth £112 from Boots in Tiverton on December 18, 2013. He must carry out 48 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months and attend 10 education training and employment sessions. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £60. Steven Hart,@ 48, of Pinhoe Road, Exeter, has admitted damaging a kettle, television, a mattress and bedding and plaster on a wall of bedroom 310 belonging to the White Hart Hotel, South Street, Exeter. He must pay compensation of £100 and attended alcohol treatment sessions. Shane McCartney,@ 29, of no fixed abode, has been sent to prison after pleading guilty to stealing three fragrance items worth £114 from Boots in Exeter on December 18.
