This is Croydon -- POLICE investigating the theft of an iPhone from a train passenger want to talk to this man. The victim, a 25-year-old man, was sitting in the second carriage of the train, running from West Croydon to Dalston Junction, when the incident took place. Detective Constable Mark Agrippa, who is leading the investigation, said: "The passenger was on his phone on the train when a man approached and snatched it from his hand. "He then left the train at Honor Oak Park as the doors were closing and the victim was not able to follow him. "The stolen phone is a black iPhone 4S worth approximately £450." The offence took place at around 4.10pm on Friday, November 15. DC Agrippa added: "In the time since the offence, numerous enquiries have taken place to identify the person responsible, including liaising with local police and viewing CCTV from the station. "I'm now appealing for the public's help to identify the man in these images as I believe he will have information vital to this investigation. "I would also like to ask any witnesses who saw what took place to come forward as a matter of urgency."
