AN OPPORTUNISTIC thief stole trophies from Sevenoaks Community Centre during a boxing event on Saturday afternoon. Five awards and an iPhone were taken from the Otford Road hall between 4pm and 5pm. Two were later recovered nearby but three - valued at a total of £60 – remain missing. The iPhone, which was stolen from the top of someone's handbag, is valued at £260. Police are investigating and urge anyone with information to call 101, quoting Crime Report No. YY/004780/14.
